New uniform appearance for Interhome and Interchalet

The Holiday Home Division of the Swiss travel company Hotelplan Group is changing its name to Interhome. With this alteration, the holiday home specialist is looking to present both brands of Interhome and Interchalet in an even stronger and more uniformed way.

Interhome stands for the successful marketing of holiday accommodation, professional on-site service and guaranteed trouble-free holidays. Until now, the holiday home specialist operated under the name of HHD Group. In order to remain competitive on the market, the processes within the company are continuously being standardised, simplified and streamlined. "In the course of these adjustments, we have decided to change to the name Interhome. We wish to present a uniform image not only within the company, but also externally. The renaming from HHD Group to Interhome is therefore a consequential decision," explains Jörg Herrmann, CEO Interhome. Interhome will continue to use the brand Interchalet for direct customers within the German market. The brand Interhome will be used in Switzerland and other European countries. 

For our sales partners and contractual partners this will mean no change. The legal identity of Interhome remains HHD AG. "With all the innovation and the continuing challenging environment, we guarantee that Interhome with its two sales brands Interhome and Interchalet will continue to be a strong and reliable partner when it comes to renting holiday homes and holiday apartments throughout Europe," says Jörg Herrmann.

New focus on partner connections at Interhome

Interhome has been boosting its expertise in the area of connecting purchasing and sales interfaces as of 1 November 2020, when the two specialists Martin Tischer and Alexander Hawliczek join the IT team of the globally active holiday home provider.

Interhome – with the Interhome and Interchalet brands – is strengthening its focus on partner connections. To this end, the company brought on board per 1 November 2020 Martin Tischer and Alexander Hawliczek, two proven specialists in the field. Both have previously worked for Airbnb, where they were responsible notably for the company's product interfaces. They are also linked by a longstanding joint cooperation in the holiday home business: prior to joining Airbnb, they made a name for themselves as specialists in digital purchasing and sales of holiday home rentals as founders, co-owners, CEO and CIO of the German holiday apartment sales portals FewoVista and Vacaleo.
